Agenda: public hearing on budget, adoption of budget, review rules of park usage, employee contracts.


Wednesday – Mosier City Council, 7 p.m., Mosier Creek Terrace, 501 E. Second Ave. Agenda: council deliberation on decision to give Mosier citizens the right to vote on a November 2014 Wasco County ballot measure.

Thursday – Mosier Fire District, 7 p.m., Mosier Fire Hall. Agenda: audience business, 2014-15 budget hearing, Farmers Market street closures, capital advisory subcommittee report, executive session, chief’s contract, station specs, station development at 344 State Rd site, chief’s summary.

Monday – Northern Wasco County Parks and Recreation District, noon, district offices, 414 Washington St., The Dalles. Agenda: executive session to continue evaluation of executive director.

Monday – Columbia River Gorge Commission, noon, The Dalles Readiness Center, 402 E. Scenic Drive. Agenda: facilitated training and discussion on the potential for using collaborative tools in the national scenic area.

Tuesday – North Central Public Health District, 3:30 p.m., Wasco County Courthouse basement meeting room, 511 Washington St. The Dalles. Agenda: consideration of operational agreements with Wasco County; public health accreditation site visit update; budget hearing and adoption of 2014-15 budget.

Tuesday – Columbia River Gorge Commission, 8 a.m., Cherry growers industry tour, Wasco County. The commission will tour a working cherry orchard and local value-added cherry processing facilities. The public is invited to follow the commissioners on the tour. which will begin in downtown The Dalles. The meeting will reconvene at the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center at 10:30 a.m. at 5000 Discovery Drive. Agenda: 11 a.m. administrative assessment report; 1 p.m. review by Oregon Parks and Recreation Department of update to master plan for the state’s park and recreation facilities in the gorge; 1:45 p.m., discussion of 2015-17 budget priorities; 3 p.m. US Forest Service National Scenic Area manager’s report; 3:15 p.m., gorge commission director’s report.

Wednesday – Port of The Dalles, 7 p.m., port offices, 3636 Klindt Drive. Agenda: visitor business, staff report, marina update, committee reports, executive session on real property transactions, litigation and privileged legal communication. The port commission will dine at the Baldwin Saloon prior to the meeting.

Thursday – Mid-Columbia Economic Development District board, 4 p.m., White Salmon Library meeting room. Agenda: financial report, FY 2015 budget public hearing, Resolution 2014-5 adopting budget, Sherman IRP, SDIS trust agreement with Resolution 2014-6 adopting SDIS joiner of trust agreement, executive committee report, loan committee report, executive director report, project managers reports, board member updates.
