Accidents

Wasco County

March 11, 6:53 p.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury accident, unknown location. A male driver rolled his vehicle over causing damage to some property. He was also cited for driving uninsured. A report was taken.

Fire

Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue

March 11, 11:32 a.m. – Personnel responded to the 4700 block of Seven Mile Road on a report of a burn complaint. Contact was made with two male subjects at a gravel pit who were burning several small piles. They had a permit and were burning in regulation, no problem was found.

Personnel also responded to two calls for emergency medical services.

Police Reports

The Dalles City

A 21 year old male was arrested early Wednesday morning in the 1100 block of Lewis Street and is accused of two counts of probation violation, unlawful possession of methamphetamines, two counts of assaulting a public safety officer, and resisting arrest.

Wasco County

Deputy responded to a location early Tuesday morning after a caller reported a suspicious subject was observed looking into her child’s window. The area was checked but no subject was located.

A burglary report was taken Tuesday morning after a victim reported his home was burglarized while he was incarcerated. The incident is under investigation.

Oregon State Police

A 50 year old male driver from Clackamas was cited and released for unlawful possession of marijuana during a traffic stop Tuesday morning on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 97.

A 37 year old male from Goldendale was arrested Tuesday afternoon during a traffic stop at Highway 197 and Bret Clodfelter Way and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was also arrested on a Hood River municipal court warrant for failure to appear.

Parole & Probation

A 23 year old male from The Dalles was arrested Tuesday morning in the community corrections office and is accused of probation violation.

Wednesday – The Dalles Watershed Council, 6:30 p.m., USDA Service Center conference room, 2325 River Rd. Agenda: pesticide sampling results, updates on mystery pipe and Columbia Land Trust Mill creek Ridge acquisition.
