An unlawful entry into a motor vehicle report was taken Tuesday morning from the 800 block of Irvine Street after a victim reported her two unlocked vehicles were entered overnight and had items taken from them.

A found property report was taken Tuesday morning from the 300 block of West 2nd Street after a business reported finding a bike left on their property. The bike was impounded.

A second-degree animal abuse report was taken Tuesday afternoon from the 2200 block of West 8th Street.

Police responded to the 300 block of Lone Pine Drive Wednesday morning after a caller reported a male subject was passed out in his vehicle with a needle sticking in his arm. A 32-year-old La Center, Wash., male was arrested and is accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamine, unlawful delivery of heroin, and unlawful possession of heroin.

Police responded to the high school Wednesday morning after administrative staff reported a student had been assaulted. A report was taken and the incident is under investigation.

Police responded to the 800 block of Hostetler Way Wednesday afternoon after a victim reported she was sexually assaulted by a male subject. A 57-year-old The Dalles male was arrested and is accused of first-degree sexual abuse and sexual harassment.

A theft report was taken Wednesday afternoon from the 400 block of Mt. Hood Street after an employee advised some recently stolen merchandise from the store was found for sale online; the incident is under investigation.

A burglary report was taken Wednesday afternoon from the 1200 block of Pomona Street.

A lost property report was taken Wednesday afternoon from the 3600 block of West 6th Street after a victim reported misplacing her wallet.

A first-degree theft report was taken Wednesday evening at the police station after a victim reported a male suspect has stolen his vehicle. The incident is under investigation.

Police responded to the 900 block of East 12th Street Wednesday evening after a female victim reported her boyfriend had assaulted her. A 59-year-old The Dalles male was arrested and is accused of coercion, menacing, strangulation, fourth-degree assault and harassment.

A 21-year-old The Dalles male was arrested Wednesday evening in the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street and is accused of second-degree theft and unlawful possession of methamphetamines.

Police responded to the 2300 block of East 12th Street Wednesday evening after a caller reported hearing screaming in the area. A 21-year-old The Dalles male was arrested and is accused of second-degree disorderly conduct.

Police responded to the 900 block of East 8th Street on a request for a welfare check on a baby. Contact was made with the family and there were no signs of child abuse; an informational report was taken.

Wasco County

A 39-year-old The Dalles male was arrested Wednesday morning during a traffic stop at East 15th and Nevada streets on a circuit court warrant for first-degree failure to appear. He is also accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants and fourth-degree domestic assault.

Oregon State Police

A 25-year-old Springfield male was arrested Wednesday morning during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 81 on a Multnomah County warrant for third-degree theft. A 41-year-old Pullman, Wash., female passenger was also arrested and is accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamines.

Regional Jail

Seven male subjects were transported into the regional jail Wednesday after being arrested on local area warrants.

Parole & Probation

A 28-year-old The Dalles female was arrested Wednesday morning in the community corrections office and is accused of violation of post-prison supervision sanctions.

A 32-year-old The Dalles male was arrested Wednesday morning in the community corrections office and is accused of two counts of violation of post-prison supervision sanctions.

A 22-year-old The Dalles male was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the community corrections office and is accused of probation violation.
