Letter to the Editor: Faux news

— To the editor:

Glen Summers’ letter titled Fabrication Nation got the initials right but they could just as easily stand for Faux News.

I agree what passes for news is a joke these days but the problem is not limited to the so-called liberal media. Between TV, radio, internet sites and the printed press it’s possible to find compelling stories with opposing views on virtually any topic one wishes. The hard part is figuring out which side, if either, is really “Fair & Balanced.”

Keep asking questions, Glen & everyone else, but don’t put all your faith in any single source. For every NBC (or MSNBC) there’s a Fox News, for every ABC there’s a Drudge Report & for every CBS there’s a Breitbart.

By all means, watch, listen to or read them all before deciding what you’ll choose to believe. The truth is still out there, Mulder, it’s just tougher to find.
