March 26, 9:51 a.m. – Personnel responded to West 14th and Pentland streets on a report of a large amount of white smoke in the area. Contact was made with maintenance workers who were doing work on a sewer line causing steam. No problem was found.

Personnel also responded to four calls for emergency medical services.

Police Reports

The Dalles City

A male driver was cited and released for driving while suspended Wednesday afternoon in the 1000 block of Snipes Street after he was stopped for using a motorized bicycle.

A theft report was taken Wednesday evening after a victim reported having his phone stolen while he was shopping in the 1200 block of West 6th Street.

A 28-year-old The Dalles female was arrested Wednesday evening in the 800 block of East 14th Street in her home on a circuit court warrant for interference with a police officer, resisting arrest, and second-degree disorderly conduct.

An 18-year-old The Dalles male was arrested Wednesday evening in the 500 block of East 8th Street and is accused of telephonic harassment, resisting arrest, and second-degree disorderly conduct.

A lost property report was taken Wednesday evening from the 1200 block of West 6th Street after a victim reported losing her purse while shopping.

A 33-year-old The Dalles male was arrested early Thursday morning in the 2400 block of West 10th Street in his home and is accused of probation violation.

Oregon State Police

A male driver and a male passenger were both cited and released for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana during a traffic stop on Highway 97 and Gordon Hollow Frontage Road.

Sherman County

A 51-year-old Rufus male was arrested Wednesday evening in Rufus on a Sherman County warrant for probation violation.

Cody Ray Holland, 36, Portland, was arrested Wednesday evening during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 near milepost 101 and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants and driving while suspended.

Regional Jail

Two male subjects were transported into the regional jail Wednesday from Multnomah County where they were arrested on local area warrants.
