Wednesday – Board of Commissioners, 9 a.m., Wasco County Courthouse, Room 302, 511 Washington St., The Dalles. Agenda: 9 a.m., public comment, administrative officer comments, departments; 9:30, United Way; 10, US Forest Service law enforcement patrol contract; 5 p.m., outdoor mass gathering permit hearing continued.

Tuesday – Museum Commission, 7 p.m., PUD offices, 2345 River Rd. Agenda: public comment, treasurer’s report, director’s report, standing committee reports, opening schedule, bylaws, roof grant, web page, policy manual-staff job descriptions, bike-friendly certification and signage, Blue Book submission, cash register and credit card processing, draft grounds rental agreement, Fort Dalles Days.

The regularly scheduled planning commission meeting for April 3 has been cancelled. The next scheduled meeting is Thursday, April 17.


Wednesday – Mosier City Council, 7 p.m., Mosier Creek Terrace, 501 E. Second Ave. Agenda: audience business, Attainable Housing Group presentation, Mosier wastewater treatment plant rate study and management options, council deliberation on approval of continued ODOT quarry partnership, office system review and upgrade, city credit card acceptance options, gorge hub system project partnership proclamation, committee reports (cemetery, parks, public art, personnel, public works).


Monday – Columbia River Gorge Commission Recreation Committee, 10 a.m., Gorge Commission office, 57 NE Wauna Ave., White Salmon. Agenda: identify goals: immediate - garnering support for the community, identify allies and advocates, identify opportunities for building ties, create a compelling message that we can all use; long-term – increase funding for commission to carry out recreation responsibilities, identify potential sources of money for projects; getting started – current recreation related efforts in the gorge, assignments for moving forward.


Tuesday – Mid-Columbia Council of Governments special meeting, 10 a.m., council board room, 1113 Kelly Ave, The Dalles. Agenda: discuss redistricting Workforce and submittal of an Area Designation Request to the governor’s office.

Wednesday – Mid-Columbia Economic Development District committee meeting, 4 p.m., district offices, 515 E. Second St., The Dalles. Agenda: financial report, Certified Work-Ready Community Meeting presentation, joint Regional Solutions/MCEDD meeting, executive director report.
