Letter to the editor: Spring cleaning

To the editor:

It’s time to shed some sunlight on Wasco County and do some spring cleaning by replacing the two incumbent do-nothing Commissioners who promise only more of the same. We need a change.

I’m glad to have the chance to vote for Bridget Bailey and Nora Ferguson for County Commissioner. These bright candidates can really make a difference for all of us. I would like to thank them for getting out on the front lines and volunteering on our behalf.

The economy is bad and our savings our dwindling. From top to bottom we hear the incumbents congratulating themselves and promising things will get better. They will get better alright and we can start by getting a better county commission.

In our community when homeowners came to the county in hopes they may throw us just a little crumb to protect our homes we were ignored.

Instead they chose to warm the hearts of German and Spanish bankers whose front corporations seeks to take control of our natural resources.

Dust off those boring ballots of uncontested incumbents and get down to the Wasco County races. Thank Bridget Bailey and Nora Ferguson for standing up by giving them your vote.
