Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue

May 13, 6:06 a.m. – Personnel responded to the 800 block of West 12th Street on a report of residential fire alarm activation. Nothing was showing upon arrival. Contact was made with the occupant who advised the alarm woke him up but there was no smoke or fire in the home. He took the alarm down, changed the batteries and reset the alarm.

Personnel also responded to four calls for emergency medical services.

Police Reports

The Dalles City

A criminal mischief report was taken Tuesday morning in the 100 block of Union Street after an employee reported damage had been done to a restroom.

A theft report was taken Tuesday afternoon from the 1200 block of West 6th Street after an employee reported having video evidence of a suspect stealing a phone from over the weekend.

Police responded to a location undisclosed by the department after a mother reported her juvenile son was playing in the front yard and was no longer there. She called back prior to officer arrival to advise he had chased his dog down the street and there was no problem.

Police responded to the 1300 block of West 6th Street Tuesday evening after a victim reported a female suspect punched him several times. Contact was made with both subjects, it was determined the female was the aggressor but the male victim declined to pursue charges. The female suspect was warned of her conduct.

Police responded to a location undisclosed by the department Tuesday evening on a report of a loud party. A juvenile male was cited for minor in possession of alcohol. A report was taken.

Aaron Matthew Hightower, 35, Hood River, was arrested early Wednesday morning in the 300 block of Highway 197 on a state parole board warrant for parole violation. He is also accused of two counts of providing false information to a police officer.

An agency assist report was taken early Wednesday morning after assisting state police with a vehicle pursuit.

Wasco County

Kathy Jo Collins, 30, 4109 Chenowith Rd. Unit D-27, was arrested Tuesday evening in her home and is accused of probation violation.

Oregon State Police

A 28-year-old Missoula Montana male driver was cited and released for unlawful possession of heroin, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, no operator’s license and driving uninsured during a traffic stop Tuesday afternoon at Celilo Park. The vehicle was impounded.

A hazard tow report was taken Tuesday evening on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 85 as an abandoned utility trailer was left on the side of the road.

Daniel Robert Holman Jr., 41, Salem, was arrested early Wednesday morning during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 westbound, milepost 83 and is accused of attempting to elude a police officer.

Gilliam County

Lindsey Dawn Powell Teneyck, 21, Hermiston, was arrested Tuesday evening during a traffic stop in Arlington on a Umatilla County warrant for two counts of probation violation and two counts of first-degree failure to appear. She is also accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamines and providing false information to a police officer.

Regional Jail

Mayleen Adilene Ortiz, 25, 509 East 11th St., was jailed Tuesday on a circuit court commitment for contempt of court.

Parole & Probation

Richard Hunt Nosenzo, 23, 1303 Emerson St., was arrested Tuesday morning in the community corrections office and is accused of violation of post-prison supervision sanctions.
