Pendleton junior Tiah Grass slammed a walk-off two-run home run in the bottom of the fifth inning to invoke the mercy and give No. 3-ranked Pendleton a 12-2 home victory in a Columbia River Conference matchup at Steve Cary Field in Pendleton.
In all, the Lady Buckaroos rattled off nine hits and received three walks, but most of their damage was done due to four Eagle Indian errors.
TD starting pitcher Maddy Bradford tossed five innings, and struck out two.
Of the 12 runs allowed, only five were earned.
While the Buckaroo offense had things clicking, the No. 20 Eagle Indians could sustain any offensive rhythm, as they managed just three hits.
Freshman infielder and pitcher Sierra Watson led the charge with a 1 for 2 effort, the hit being a triple and two RBIs.
Pendleton (18-6 overall, 9-2 league) wraps up its regular season at Hermiston on Friday.
The Dalles (8-16, 2-9) hosts No. 2-ranked Hood River Valley (19-5, 9-2) at 4:30 p.m. Friday.
