Vendors are also welcome to participate in Wasco’s annual Memorial Day Celebration. Inside or outside space is available. For more information, call Danee at 541-442-5834 or at Cassie 541-442-5515.

Wasco City Community Library’s annual fundraising auction will be at noon, following the Memorial Day veterans recognition program and bed races.

A painting has been donated by Wasco artist, Carol MacKenzie, “Springtime on the Columbia River”. This is a framed 16-by-24-inch painting of a bald eagle sitting on a dead snag, a familiar scene just east of The Dalles Dam. The painting is on display in the Wasco City Community Library in the Wasco Annex/Wasco School, 900 E. Barnett St., Wasco. The framing was donated by George Phillips of Condon.
