Accidents

Oregon State Police

May 28, 1:51 p.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury crash, Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 111. Driver was eastbound when the vehicle swerved and struck the center barrier, then veered off the road and stopped on the shoulder. A report was taken and the vehicle was towed.

Fire

Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue

May 28, 12:43 p.m. - Personnel responded to the 500 block of West 16th Street on a report of a fire alarm. Contact was made with an employee who walked the crew through the building. There was no sign of smoke or fire and the cause of the alarm was a malfunction. The alarm was reset.

Personnel also responded to seven calls for emergency medical services.

The Dalles City

A criminal mischief report was taken Wednesday morning from a location undisclosed by the department after a victim reported someone let the air out of his tires overnight.

John Scott Frizzell, 51, no listed address, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the 200 block of West 3rd Street and is accused of second-degree disorderly conduct.

An unlawful entry into a motor vehicle report was taken Wednesday afternoon from a location undisclosed by the department after a victim reported her vehicle was entered overnight and had some items taken.

A first-degree sexual abuse report was taken Wednesday evening from a location undisclosed by the department.

Marcus Ralph Ybarra, 30, Hood River, was arrested Wednesday evening during a traffic stop at Chenowith and Maple streets on a Hood River county warrant for two counts of probation violation.

John Scott Frizzell, 51, no listed address, was arrested early Thursday morning in the 200 block of East 2nd Street and is accused of second-degree criminal trespass.

Wasco County

Justin Patrick Lane, 26, 5740 Highway 30 No. 5, was arrested Wednesday evening at a location undisclosed by the department and is accused of probation violation.

Oregon State Police

Troopers responded to a residence on Sevenmile Hill Road to assist Wasco County on a domestic dispute. State police SWAT and the local SERT team responded. The house was cleared and the suspect was not found.

A male driver was cited and released for providing false information to a police officer, speeding, and no operator’s license during a traffic stop Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 104.

Regional Jail

James Jay Grand, 21, Prineville, was transported and jailed Wednesday after being arrested on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

Heather Carroll Coleman, 41, 712 West 11th St., was transported by Deschutes County and jailed Wednesday after being arrested on a circuit court warrant for unlawful possession of methamphetamines.

Parole & Probation

Alex Michael Kemp, 23, 310 West 9th St., was arrested Wednesday morning in the community corrections office and is accused of two counts of probation violation.
