Seniors and people with disabilities topic of meetings Oct. 6

Aging and People with Disabilities (APD) invites The Dalles area residents to share ideas about the future of Oregon’s services for seniors and people with disabilities Monday, Oct 6, at two locations: The Dalles Senior Center, 1112 West 9th Street, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., and at Spooky’s Pizza Restaurant, 3320 West 6th Street in The Dalles, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

The meetings will provide those attending an opportunity to help state officials decide what should be done to improve future services. There will be a short presentation followed by a group discussion.

Refreshments will be provided. Everyone is welcome.

Interpreters for people who are non-English speakers, who are deaf or hard of hearing or other accommodations for persons with disabilities are available. Please contact Rebecca Arce at or 503-947-5019 to make arrangements at least 48 hours before the meeting.
