Accidents

The Dalles City

August 30, 5:17 p.m. – Police took a crash report from West 10th and Hostetler streets. It is unknown how many vehicles or if anyone was injured in this incident.

Wasco County

August 30, 2:51 p.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury crash, Highway 197 near milepost 16. Deputy struck a deer while driving in the area. A report was taken.

August 31, 9:59 a.m. – Single motorcycle, injury crash, Bakeoven Road in Maupin. Driver of motorcycle lost control after a deer jumped in front of him. His passenger was taken to a hospital in Madras via an ambulance and the driver was life flighted to Bend. A report was taken.

Oregon State Police

August 30, 2:21 p.m. – Single vehicle, injury crash, Highway 218 near milepost 7. Driver lost control of vehicle going off the shoulder and rolled over. All occupants had minor injuries. A report was taken and the vehicle was towed.

August 30, 10:51 p.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury crash, Highway 197 southbound, milepost 4. Driver had taken a corner too fast going onto the shoulder causing the vehicle to go off the road. The vehicle was towed.

Fire

Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue

August 29, 4:28 p.m. – Personnel responded to Highway 197 and Eightmile Road on a report of a vehicle fire. Upon arrival a fifth wheel travel trailer was found on fire. The owner was able to park and disconnect his pickup, but there was some fire damage to the pickup. The trailer was extinguished but was a total loss. The cause was determined to be electrical.

August 29, 5:25 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 5000 block of Discovery Drive on a report of a fire alarm. The crew was cancelled while heading to the call and returned to the station.

August 29, 8:18 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 5000 block of Discovery Drive on a report of a fire alarm. Nothing was showing upon arrival. No problem was found and the alarm was reset.

Personnel also responded to five calls for emergency medical services on Friday, 10 on Saturday, nine on Sunday, and 10 on Monday.

The Dalles City

A runaway report was taken Friday morning from West 8th and Cherry Heights streets.

A lost property report was taken Friday afternoon from a location undisclosed by the department after a victim reported losing his wallet.

A restraining order violation report was taken Friday afternoon from a location undisclosed by the department.

David Damon McConville, 22, was arrested Friday afternoon in the 200 block of River Road and is accused of first-degree animal neglect and animal abandonment.

Carlos Richard Harrison, 29, 2623 East 10th St., was arrested Friday evening in his home on a circuit court warrant for contempt of court.

Jimmy Lee Cain, 22, 1726 East 10th St., was arrested early Saturday morning at a location undisclosed by the department on a circuit court warrant for parole violation.

A criminal mischief report was taken early Saturday morning from a location undisclosed by the department after a victim reported something was thrown at her window, shattering it.

Police responded to the skate park Saturday morning after a male subject was found sleeping on a bench. Subject was cited and released for second-degree criminal trespass.

A criminal mischief report was taken Saturday morning from a location undisclosed by the department after a caller reported graffiti was applied to a building.

Police responded to the 2600 block of West 6th Street Saturday afternoon after an employee reported two juvenile shoplifters were in custody. One of the suspects was cited for third-degree robbery and third-degree theft, she was released to a parent.

A runaway report was taken Saturday evening from a location undisclosed by the department.

Theodore Frank Spencer, 49, 312 Court St. No. 212, was arrested Saturday evening in the 300 block of Court Street and is accused of second-degree criminal trespass.

Gracy Rodriguez Valencia, 21, 405 W. 9th St., was arrested early Sunday morning in the 100 block of Washington Street and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Billy Alexander Clemons, 21, 5740 Highway 30 No. 12, was arrested early Sunday morning in the 300 block of Madison Street on a Union County warrant for second-degree failure to appear.

Siatigi Meafou, 43, 2700 W. 7th Street No. 14, was arrested Sunday morning at the hospital and is accused of fourth-degree domestic assault.

Gricelda Gonzales Cruz, 30, 418 E. 7th St., was arrested Sunday afternoon in her home and is accused of second-degree criminal mischief.

Juan Elario Rendon, 35, no listed address, was arrested Sunday evening at West 10th Street and Eric Court and is accused of first-degree burglary, unlawful use of a weapon, two counts of fourth-degree domestic assault, strangulation, menacing, and harassment.

Frank Allen Whitesell, 53, Portland, was arrested early Monday morning in the 800 block of Pomona Street and is accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamine. He was also arrested on a Multnomah County warrant for second-degree failure to appear.

A theft report was taken Monday morning from the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street after an employee reported a suspect fled the store without paying for beer.

A theft report was taken Monday evening from a location undisclosed by the department after a victim reported someone stole her dog.

A theft report was taken early Tuesday morning from the 1300 block of West 6th Street after a suspect stole a bag of pop cans.

Wasco County

Brandon Eugene Beachamp, 31, Dufur, was arrested Friday evening in Maupin and is accused of second-degree disorderly conduct. Danielle Erin Berry, 31, Ridgefield, Wash., was also arrested and is accused of second-degree disorderly conduct. Randall Douglas Murray, 31, Ridgefield, Wash., was also arrested and is accused of second-degree disorderly conduct.

Anthony Derrell Black, 27, 1515 E. 14th St., was arrested early Sunday morning in the 200 block of East 2nd Street and is accused of probation violation, harassment, and second-degree disorderly conduct.

Karim Amintawfik Gobran, 30, Newport Beach, Calif., was arrested early Sunday morning during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 69 and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

An assault report was taken early Sunday morning from Celilo Village, the incident is under investigation.

A criminal mischief report was taken Sunday morning from a location undisclosed by the department after a victim reported finding two bullet holes in his vehicle.

A hazard tow report was taken Sunday afternoon from a location undisclosed by the department after a vehicle was found blocking a roadway. The vehicle appeared to be in a crash but no driver was found. The driver was located at the hospital, no citations were issued.

A theft report was taken Monday afternoon from a location undisclosed by the department after a victim reported a vehicle battery was stolen from his machinery.

A burglary report was taken Monday afternoon from a location undisclosed by the department.

A burglary report was taken Monday evening from a location undisclosed by the department.

Oregon State Police

A female driver was cited for no insurance and driving while suspended during a traffic stop Sunday evening on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 99; the vehicle was impounded.

Edward Ronald Hein, 50, 900 Washington St. Unit G, was arrested early Monday morning at West 2nd and Webber streets and is accused of parole violation.

Gilliam County

Edward Ellis Colgan, 42, Condon, was arrested Friday morning at his home and is accused of fourth-degree domestic assault and interference with making a report.

Jay Jay Dix, 40, Gladstone, was arrested Saturday evening during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 Westbound, milepost 135 and is accused of unlawful possession of marijuana, failure to present and carry an operator’s license, and driving while suspended. He was also arrested on a Clackamas County warrant for probation violation.
