Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue

September 24, 8:01 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 800 block of West 11th Street on a report of a smoke odor inside a residence. Resident stated the smell came from the water heater in her utility room. The homeowner was advised to have an electrician and plumber check the unit before use.

September 24, 1:13 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 2600 block to West 6th Street on a report of a smoke odor in the business. The entire business was checked but no problem was found.

Personnel also responded to six calls for emergency medical services.

An identity theft report was taken Wednesday morning from a location undisclosed by the department.

Police responded to the middle school Wednesday morning after an adult male subject was on school grounds attempting to give flowers to a teacher. He was trespassed from the property.

William Reuben Adams, 52, 4109 Chenowith Rd. Unit D27, was arrested Wednesday afternoon at East 3rd and Federal streets on a municipal court warrant for failure to appear.

A first-degree burglary report was taken Wednesday evening from a location undisclosed by the department.

Wasco County

A female suspect was cited and released for probation violation Wednesday morning from a location undisclosed by the department.

A hit and run report was taken Wednesday morning from a location undisclosed by the department.

Deputy responded to Chenowith and Sevenmile Hill roads Wednesday evening on a report that a vehicle was in the ditch. Nothing was found.

Oregon State Police

A male driver was cited and released for driving while suspended Wednesday evening during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 82.

Thomas John Girtz, 49, Tygh Valley, was transported by Clackamas County and jailed Wednesday after being arrested on a circuit court warrant for post-prison violations.

Stephen Craig Speer, 55, no listed address, was transported in and jailed Wednesday after being arrested on a Sherman County warrant for two counts of second-degree failure to appear.

James Jay Grand, 21, Prineville, was transported in and jailed Wednesday after being arrested on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

Amanda Michell Worley, 19, 3817 West 10th St. No. 5, was transported in and jailed Wednesday after being arrested on a circuit court warrant for two counts of probation violation.

Christopher David Hand, 33, Wamic, was transported in and jailed Wednesday after being arrested on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

Krystal Rae Sapien, 30, 318 East 12th St. No. 1, was arrested Wednesday morning in the community corrections office and is accused of probation violation.

Mariah Dawn Hernandez, 28, 2223 East 12th St., was arrested Wednesday morning in the community corrections office and is accused of two counts of post-prison violations.

Wanda Jane Bryan, 52, 3817 West 10th St. No. 2, was arrested Wednesday morning in the community corrections office and is accused of probation violation.

Alana Faye Seidel, 25, no listed address, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the community corrections office and is accused of probation violation.

Samantha Jean Roettger, 25, Wamic, was arrested Wednesday evening in the 500 block of Washington Street and is accused of post-prison violations.
