2015 Northwest Cherry Festival

In its 36th year, the Northwest Cherry Festival will look a little different in 2015 as it moves to First Street. Expanding to three days, the festival will officially begin Friday, April 24, at 2 p.m. with a tribute to the community, but events surrounding the festival stretch out over a week.


April 19 — 11th Annual Cherry of a Ride, St. Mary’s


April 21 — Cherry Festival Lip Sync Contest, 7 p.m.,

The Dalles High School auditorium

April 23 — Brigham Young University-Idaho Symphony

Band, 7 p.m., TDHS auditorium

April 24-26 — Northwest Cherry Festival, Downtown

The Dalles on First Street

April 24-26 — Senator Ted Ferrioli Entertainment

Stage, Friday 2-9 p.m., Saturday 12-7 p.m., Sunday 10

a.m.-2 p.m., First Street

April 24-26 — Open-Air Market, food, arts and craft

vendors, artisans, petting zoo, mechanical bull, First


April 24-26 — Davis Family Carnival, First Street
