A Dufur Hometown Christmas

How do farmers celebrate the Christmas season? Find out during Dufur’s “Hometown Christmas” Saturday, Dec. 12.

The popular tractor parade begins at 4:30 p.m., but events are planned throughout the day.

The event includes a holiday bazaar at the Catholic Church Hall, 425 NE 2nd St., from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Soup and a fresh baked roll follow at Kramer’s Market, 121 Main St., from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The meal is $5. A Community Center Tour and Desserts are available at Dufur Methodist Church, 320 NE 2nd St., from 1 to 3 p.m.

From 1 to 3 p.m. pictures with Santa are available by donation at Kramer’s Market, with Tim Fain Photography. While you are there, enjoy free apple cider and cookies until 4 p.m.

The Dufur Boys will perform at the Balch Hotel, 40 Heimrich St. from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., with coffee and hot chocolate available as well. A dinner by reservation will also be held at the hotel, beginning at 6 p.m. Call 541-467-2277.
