Fire

Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue

May 6, 9:00 a.m. – Personnel responded to the 2700 block of Skyline Road on a report of a grass fire that was threatening a structure. Property owner was burning weeds with a propane weed burner when he caught the ground on fire which quickly spread. The only damager were to some bushes on the property. The fire was extinguished.

Personnel also responded to two calls for emergency medical services.

Police Reports

The Dalles City

A theft report was taken Wednesday morning from the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street after an employee reported a subject charged money onto an account belonging to them without authorization.

The incident is under investigation.

Corina Lynn Shockey, 52, The Dalles, was arrested Wednesday morning in the 800 block of East 13th Street and is accused of third-degree assault, third-degree theft, and two counts of probation violation. Cynthia Lee Ike, 23, The Dalles, was also arrested and is accused of third-degree assault.

Police responded to the 1100 block of East 12th Street Wednesday afternoon after staff reported they had a student in custody for having marijuana. The juvenile was cited and released to a parent.

Tonya Kay York, 43, Simi Valley, Calif., was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the 1200 block of West 6th Street and is accused of first-degree theft and conspiracy to commit theft. Volodymyr Symonchuk, 26, Richland, Wash., was also arrested and is accused of first-degree theft and conspiracy to commit theft.

Larry Lauzon, 55, The Dalles, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the 1300 block of West 6th Street and is accused of second-degree criminal trespass and second-degree disorderly conduct.

An informational report was taken Wednesday evening from the 2200 block of West 14th Street after a caller reported a mother who was having a visitation with her grandson was not allowed to have alcohol before visitations and was currently drinking in the presence of the child. The incident is under investigation.

A runaway report was taken Wednesday evening from the 1000 block of Pomona Street.

Wasco County

Deputy responded to Maupin Wednesday morning on a report of a verbal dispute at a residence. Caller reported her daughter’s boyfriend kicked in a door in the home and threw a bottle of cologne at him during the altercation. No crime occurred, all subjects were warned of their conduct. An informational report was taken.

Regional Jail

Quenton Sans Wallace, 44, Goldendale, Wash., was transported and jailed Wednesday after being arrested on a circuit court warrant for four counts of failure to appear and parole violation.

Thomas John Girtz, 26, Eagle Creek, was transported and jailed Wednesday after being arrested on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

Jose Pablo Casner, 27, Bend, was transported and jailed Wednesday after being arrested on a circuit court warrant for three counts of failure to appear.

Wesley Lee Martens, 30, The Dalles, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the community corrections office and is accused of three counts of probation violation.

Tammie Boggs, 41, The Dalles, was arrested Wednesday evening in the community corrections office and is accused of probation violation.
