Accidents

Wasco County

July 1, 5:48 p.m. – Single vehicle, injury crash, Forest Service Road 48 near Rock Creek Reservoir. Motorcyclist crashed his motorcycle and was taken to the hospital for injuries sustained in the crash. The crash victim was cited for driving under the influence of intoxicants and released into the care of medical staff. A report was taken.

July 4, 3:37 p.m. – Single vehicle, unknown injury crash, Highway 216 in Maupin.

Car had been abandoned in the ditch and no subjects were near the vehicle. Car had been crashed several hours prior to being found by deputies. Local hospitals were checked but no victim was found. A report was taken.

Fire

Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue

July 4, 10:02 p.m. – Personnel responded to East 11th and Shearer streets on a report of two small fires in the area. The area was checked but nothing was found. Personnel also responded to five calls for emergency medical services on Thursday, six on Friday, four on Saturday, five on Sunday and nine on Monday.

The Dalles City

A theft report was taken Thursday morning from the 400 block of Mt. Hood Street after a victim reported his tent was slashed and some fireworks were stolen.

A third-degree sexual abuse report was taken Thursday afternoon from the 1200 block of West 6th Street after a caller reported two juvenile male subjects had inappropriate contact with an employee. The incident is under investigation.

A hit and run report was taken Thursday evening from the 800 block of East 2nd Street.

Jaime Roberto Hernandez, 21, Hood River, was arrested early Friday morning at East 5th and Washington streets and is accused of second-degree assault and second-degree disorderly conduct.

A restraining order violation report was taken Friday morning from the 2500 block of East 10th Street after a victim reported her husband violated a no contact order.

Dennis Wayne Ladoux, 61, The Dalles, was arrested Friday afternoon in the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street and is accused of second-degree disorderly conduct, harassment, third-degree theft, resisting arrest and post-prison violations.

Terrence Lowell Wetmore, 59, The Dalles, was arrested Friday evening during a traffic stop in the 2400 block of West 10th Street and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

A theft report was taken Friday evening from the 900 block of East 18th Street after a victim reported some items were stolen from his home.

Tiffany Dawn Sullivan, 25, The Dalles, was arrested early Saturday morning in the 1700 block of East 19th Street and is accused of second-degree disorderly conduct. Ferman Brian Tufti, 57, The Dalles, was arrested early Saturday morning in the 3000 block of West 2nd Street and is accused of three counts of post-prison violations.

Jayme Lee Luna, 34, The Dalles, was arrested early Saturday morning in the 1500 block of East 11th Street and is accused of third-degree assault, two counts of harassment, second-degree disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, first-degree kidnapping, and second-degree robbery.

Gineva Avellaneda Arriola, 25, The Dalles, was arrested Saturday morning in the 700 block of East 11th Street and is accused of third-degree assault, first-degree kidnapping, and second-degree robbery.

A burglary report was taken Saturday evening from the 900 block of Honey Do Street after a victim reported someone broke into his home and stole some items.

A theft report was taken Saturday evening from the 2900 block of West 6th Street after an employee reported a subject left the station without paying for gas.

A first-degree burglary report was taken Saturday evening from the 100 block of East 13th Street after caller reported some activity in a neighbor’s home.

Contact was made with the homeowner who advised no one should have been inside the residence and some items were missing.

Police responded to the 1200 block of West 6th Street Saturday evening after an employee reported two subjects returned after being previously trespassed. One subject was cited for second-degree criminal trespass and released to his father; a report was taken.

Police responded to the 200 block of East 2nd Street early Sunday morning after a caller reported a male subject with a knife was threatening to harm himself. Contact was made with the subject.

He was picked up by family and taken home. An informational report was taken.

A criminal mischief report was taken Sunday morning from the 300 block of West 4th Street after a caller reported someone was damaging a retaining wall in the area.

A first-degree burglary report was taken Sunday afternoon from the 800 block of West 23rd Street after a victim reported her home was broken into and items stolen.

Police responded to the 500 block of East 2nd Street early Monday morning on a report of a male subject bleeding. A report was taken but no further details on the incident were made available.

A natural death report was taken Monday morning from the 1100 block of West 5th Place.

A natural death report was taken Monday morning from the 700 block of West 12th Street.

A runaway report was taken Monday morning form the 300 block of West 9th Street.

A theft report was taken Monday evening from the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street after staff reported two suspects fled with unpaid merchandise.

Amie Ruth Taylor, 40, The Dalles, was arrested Monday evening near The Dalles Bridge and is accused of two counts of probation violation.

An illegal fireworks report was taken Monday evening from the 2200 block of East 14th Street.

Tyler James Burris, 23, The Dalles, was arrested early Tuesday morning near East 14th and Washington streets and is accused of attempting to elude a police officer in a vehicle, resisting arrest, harassment, and parole violation. He was also arrested on a warrant for first-degree failure to appear.

An illegal fireworks report was taken early Tuesday morning from the 1200 block of East 13th Street.

Wasco County

A theft report was taken Thursday afternoon from the 2200 block of Dry Hollow Road after a victim reported his cell phone was stolen.

A first-degree theft report was taken Friday morning from Dufur.

Rodney Allen Rangleoff, 44, Lyons, was arrested Friday afternoon in circuit court on a local warrant for second-degree failure to appear.

A hit and run report was taken Saturday morning from Mosier.

An agency assist report was taken Sunday evening from the 5600 block of Cherry Heights Road after fire crews requested traffic control assistance during a grass fire.

Oregon State Police

Joshua Dale Phillips, 42, The Dalles, was arrested Sunday afternoon during a traffic stop at West 7th and Snipes streets and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants, unlawful possession of methamphetamine, probation violation, and supplying contraband.

Kurt Charles Uhler, 63, Ensenada, Mexico, was arrested Monday afternoon during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 85 and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Gilliam County

Jose Jimenez Bautista, 39, Woodburn, was arrested Thursday afternoon during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 133 on a warrant for failure to appear. He is also accused of probation violation.

Mark David Borghese, 51, Arlington, was arrested Saturday afternoon in Arlington and is accused of first-degree burglary, first-degree criminal trespass, second-degree criminal trespass, and probation violation.

Raphael Christian Pond, 26, Tualatin, was arrested Monday evening during a traffic stop on Interstate 84, milepost 128 and is accused of reckless driving.

Regional Jail

Jan Eileen Moore Hayden, 63, Wishram, Wash., was jailed Thursday on a circuit court commitment for second-degree theft.

Kyle Allan Radke, 22, Lyle, Wash., was booked and released Friday on a court commitment for failure to perform the duties of a driver.

Beth Ann Miller Scherf, 46, The Dalles, was transported by Klickitat County and jailed Friday after being arrested on a local warrant for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
