September 10, 11:05 a.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, 2200 block of West 6th Street. Officer assisted with the exchange of information.
September 10, 5:51 p.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury crash, Tygh Valley. Driver had taken a sharp corner and lost control, causing the vehicle to go off the road. The driver was cited for careless driving. A report was taken.
September 11, 7:27 p.m. – Single vehicle, injury crash, Highway 197 near Shadybrook Road. Vehicle rolled over and a passenger was ejected. A report was taken.
September 12, 2:17 a.m. – Single vehicle, injury crash, Highway 197 near Five Mile Road. Teen driver crashed her vehicle into some fencing. A report was taken.
Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue
September 9, 10:45 a.m. – Personnel responded to the 1600 block of Nevada Street on a report of smoke in the area. Upon arrival a single story home was located with smoke coming from the eaves of the roof. The fire was located in the basement of the home and the fire was extinguished. Cause of the fire was mechanical failure of the electrical panel.
September 11, 1:11 a.m. – Personnel responded to the 200 block of East 2nd Street on a report of a dumpster fire. While heading to the area law enforcement advised it was a mattress fire and they were putting it out with an extinguisher. The mattress was soaked with water and disposed of.
Personnel also responded to eight calls for emergency medical services on Friday, 10 on Saturday, nine on Sunday and seven on Monday.
The Dalles City
A dog was located near East 18th and Morton streets Friday morning and was taken to the animal shelter. The owners had come to the shelter looking for the animal and were able to retrieve the dog. A report was taken.
Amanda Elizabeth Leslie, 25, The Dalles, was arrested Friday morning on Riverfront trail east of Union Street on a warrant for first-degree failure to appear.
A sexual assault report was taken Friday afternoon from the 400 block of East 7th Street. The incident is under investigation.
A hit and run report was taken Friday evening from the 3900 block of West 6th Street.
An assault report was taken Friday evening from the 3300 block of Old Dufur Road. The incident is under investigation.
A theft report was taken Friday evening from the 1100 block of East 12th Street after a caller reported a cell phone was stolen.
Police responded to East 12th and Oregon streets early Saturday morning after a caller observed several subjects attempting to jump over the fence to get into the baseball field. Four subjects were located and were all cited for minor in possession of alcohol.
A criminal mischief report was taken Saturday morning from the 1200 block of Sandy Lane after a victim reported someone scratched her vehicle.
Police responded to the 1300 block of Trevitt Street Saturday morning after a caller reported his stepdaughter was in possession of marijuana. The marijuana was seized and the juvenile was cited for minor in possession of marijuana. A report was taken.
Lee Duane Tobie, 50, The Dalles, was arrested Saturday evening in the 3300 block of West 13th Street and is accused of violation of a restraining order.
Police responded to the 2000 block of View Court Saturday evening on a report of a stray dog. The dog was located as was the owner of the dog. The dog was returned to the owner and a report was taken.
Police responded to the 500 block of East 8th Street Saturday evening after a caller reported a male subject had been drinking and wanted to harm himself. The subject was detained and taken to the hospital on a police officer’s hold. A report was taken.
An assault report was taken early Sunday morning from the 900 block of West 11th Street after a victim reported he was assaulted by his brother.
Mayleen Adilene Ortez Campos, 27, The Dalles, was arrested early Sunday morning in the 200 block of East 2nd Street and is accused of two counts of probation violation.
A criminal mischief report was taken Sunday morning from the 1500 block of East 12th Street after a victim reported his tires were slashed.
A theft report was taken Sunday morning from West 2nd and Cherry Heights streets after a victim reported her scooter was stolen.
A theft report was taken Sunday morning from the 2700 block of Old Dufur Road after a victim reported some items were stolen. From her property.
A theft report was taken Sunday morning from the 2000 block of East 14th Street after a victim reported his vehicle was prowled overnight and had some items taken.
A criminal mischief report was taken Sunday afternoon from West 9th and Trevitt streets after a victim reported a juvenile in the area threw an apple at her vehicle.
A weapons denial report was taken Sunday evening from the 3300 block of Est 6th Street. The incident is under investigation.
Three juvenile subjects were located at West 11tha and Union streets early Monday morning. One juvenile male was cited for minor in possession of alcohol, minor in possession of tobacco, unlawful possession of marijuana and curfew violation. A second juvenile male was cited for unlawful possession of marijuana and curfew violation. The third juvenile was cited for minor in possession of alcohol. All three were released to parents and a report was taken.
Police responded to the 300 block of West 9th Street early Monday morning after a caller reported he was attacked by his juvenile son. A report was taken and the incident is under investigation.
A caller at West Sixth and Pentland reported Monday morning a man at a nearby property was twitching and acting strange. Police contacted the man, who appeared to be high on methamphetamine, but didn’t appear to be in danger.
A caller in the 700 block of Snipes reported Monday morning an older camp trailer, with blankets on the window, was on the property and the owner said he couldn’t move it because his vehicle had been impounded. Police talked to the owner, who said he would have it moved that day.
The middle school reported Monday morning an agitated student was in the office and they requested an officer. The student’s grandfather came to pick up the youth and he left without incident.
Jack Doyle Rakes was arrested Monday morning at the parole and probation office and is accused of probation violation.
A caller in the 700 block of East Scenic reported Monday afternoon a bicycle frame and two wheels were stolen from the carport in early July.
A caller in the 2700 block of Old Dufur Road reported Monday afternoon her neighbor yells at her every time she goes home and harasses anyone who comes to her property. She said they are having easement issues that she is seeing a lawyer about. The neighbor earlier called police about a vehicle blocking the driveway, saying it is an ongoing problem.
A caller in the 2600 block of West 10th Street reported Monday afternoon that a number of items have gone missing from her house and she has a suspect.
A woman came to the police station Monday afternoon to report her brother made a threat on Facebook that he was going to beat her up. She was told to advise police if he makes any more threats.
A caller in the 1800 block of East 10th Street reported theft of building material Monday afternoon.
A caller from Union Pacific reported Monday morning that a bearded man with no shirt or pants was on the tracks and when the train came through at West First Street and Terminal Way, he jumped out of the way. Police contacted the man, who had just gotten out of jail. He had on pants and a shirt he had just put on.
A man in the 1000 block of East 11th Street reported Monday evening a person entered his vehicle then wrote a $650 check at a local store fraudulently. Report taken.
A caller in the 500 block of West Ninth reported employee theft Monday evening.
A caller Monday evening reported a man was hiding in City Park in the bushes, yelling and acting crazy. He was gone on police arrival.
A caller in the 500 block of Mt. Hood reported Monday evening a man approached him and was talking about terrorist groups and orphanages and had an aggressive demeanor. The man was gone from the area when police arrived.
A caller in the 500 block of Mt. Hood reported two men fighting. Report taken.
A caller in the 1200 block of West Sixth reported two transients in front of the store and one was drinking beer. A customer stated they asked her for money. Both men were asked to leave, and the man drinking was warned about drinking in public.
A caller in the 1800 block of East 10th Street reported a downstairs neighbor was moving furniture in the middle of the night and wouldn’t stop. The neighbor agreed to avoid making noise.
A theft report was taken Friday afternoon from Mosier after a victim reported he mail was being stolen.
An agency assist report was taken Sunday afternoon after the marine deputy assisted Klickitat County with aiding two subjects who were trespassing on Miller Island.
Deputy responded to Wamic Sunday evening after a caller reported her ex-husband was making contact with her, sending her unwanted text messages. A telephonic harassment report was taken and the incident is under investigation.
On Monday morning, deputies responded to a report of 16-year-old female driver walking down the road after being in a car accident near the intersection of Highway 197 and Five Mile Road. Girl was taken to the hospital.
Deputies arrested a subject on a warrant for theft 2 in the 500 block of Washington Street Monday morning.
Jill Michella Nevins, 38, of Wishram, was arrested Monday morning and charged with theft in the second degree.
A caller stated that a taxi driver came onto his property in the 6100 block of Mill Creek Road Monday morning and caused damage to some irrigation pipe and hose ends.
On Monday morning, deputy responded to the 5000 block of Allen Place on a call of a vehicle in the possession of a vehicle of someone who did not have permission to have the vehicle. Deputies attempted to locate the vehicle but could not locate it. Subsequently, the person with the vehicle returned the keys but would not tell them where vehicle was. Deputies contacted the person and vehicle was recovered.
Aleksandr A. Lapin, 36, of Spokane, was arrested and accused of driving while suspended or revoked.
Ethan Michael Baiocco, 23, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, was arrested Monday afternoon and accused of unlawful possession of heroin; unlawful distribution of a controlled substance; DUII, and reckless driving.
On Monday afternoon, a man was arrested for second degree trespassing in the 1000 block of Starlight Street West.
Deputies served a citation on a man who was accused of telephonic harassment in the 1000 block of Floral Street on Monday evening.
Bradley John Little, 22, of The Dalles, was arrested Monday evening and charged with criminal trespassing in the second degree.

Kevin Dean Mason, 57, Pasco, Wash., was arrested Friday evening in the 1700 block of East 19th Street and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants and attempting to elude a police officer on foot.
Cody Lee Thomas, 25, John Day, was arrested Friday evening during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 westbound, milepost 109 and is accused of driving while suspended and use of an invalid driver’s license.
Matthew David Sconawah, 25, Warm Springs, was arrested Saturday afternoon in on Highway 218 near milepost 23 and is accused of three wildlife offenses. Kenneth Valgene Hicks, 26, Warm Springs, was also arrested and is accused of three wildlife offenses. Eric Adrian Mitchell, 24, Warm Springs, was also arrested and is accused of six counts of wildlife offenses.
Truman Vuren Merrifield, 28, Warm Springs, was arrested Sunday morning on Highway 218 near milepost 28 and is accused of four counts of wildlife offenses.
Mark Locicero, 51, Wasco, was arrested Sunday evening in Wasco and is accused of fourth-degree domestic assault.
Camron Lee Simpson, 39, The Dalles, was booked and released Friday on a court commitment for driving while suspended.
