City revokes A&P site permit

Owner asks city for more time to comply

A&P Recycling owner Paul Lepinski pointed out that his six-month deadline to put up fencing included 72 straight days with heavy snow on the ground, and otherwise the work probably would have been done. Lepinski has fencing materials on site and plans to install the fence soon.

On July 26, the site plan for A&P Recycling, located at 280 Webber Street, was revoked by The Dalles Planning Commission. The city contends the materials stored near the sidewalk create a safety hazard, and wants the site screened from view.
