Accidents

The Dalles City

February 10, 4:21 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, 1300 block of West 6th Street. One driver was cited for no operator’s license and driving uninsured. A report was taken.

February 11, 6:55 a.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury crash, Brewery Grade. Driver was cited for no operator’s license. A report was taken.

February 13, 3:39 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, East 10th and Union streets. Officer assisted with the exchange of information.

Fire

Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue

February 10, 12:36 p.m. – Crew responded to the 600 block of East 9th Street on a report of a burn complaint. Arrived to find no fire burning but when the property owner was questioned he admitted to burning a small pile of papers. He was counseled on the burning regulations.

February 11, 3:05 p.m. – Crew responded to the 1200 block of West 6th Street on a report of a stalled elevator with people inside. The issue was resolved and the subjects were able to get out of the elevator with no problem. The store manager was advised to get the elevator serviced.

February 12, 3:45 p.m. – Crew responded to the 900 block of East 2nd Street on a report of a fire alarm. Contact was made with an employee who stated they have been having issues with the alarm for several weeks and the alarm company has not been able to fix the issue. No problem was found.

Personnel also responded to eight calls for emergency medical services on Friday, four on Saturday, three on Sunday and eight on Monday.

Police Reports

The Dalles City

Harmony Yvonne Laviolette, 35, The Dalles, was arrested Friday afternoon in the 600 block of East 3rd Street on a warrant for failure to appear.

A theft report was taken Saturday afternoon from the 2800 block of Old Dufur Road after a victim reported a package was delivered to the wrong address.

Gabriel Castro Garcia, 26, The Dalles, was arrested Saturday evening in the 1300 block of West 6th Street and is accused of failure to present and carry an operator’s license.

Sylvester Sam Dave, 37, Wapato, Wash., was arrested Saturday evening in the 2800 block of West 7th Street and is accused of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and probation violation. Anthony Wray Berry, 32, The Dalles, was also arrested and is accused of probation violation and two counts of post-prison violations.

William Lionel Neary, 26, The Dalles, was arrested Saturday evening in the 1200 block of East 8th Street and is accused of probation violation and post-prison violations. Alana Faye Seidel, 27, The Dalles, was also arrested and is accused of post-prison violations.

Motuga Motuga, 24, The Dalles, was arrested early Sunday morning in the 200 block of East 3rd Street and is accused of providing false information to a police officer. He was also arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.

Alicia Mendoza, 39, Yakima Wash., was arrested Sunday morning in the 600 block of Cherry Heights Road and is accused of unlawful delivery of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

A burglary report was taken Sunday afternoon from the 1100 block of Oregon Avenue after a caller reported a trailer used for storage on the property was broken into.

A theft report was taken Monday morning from the 400 block of West 15th Street after a victim reported his license plate was stolen.

Police responded to the high school Monday morning after staff reported an issue with a non-custodial parent calling the school regarding a student which violates a court order. A report was taken and the incident is under investigation.

Animal control located a stray cat in the 1200 block of Jordan Street. The animal was lodged at the shelter and a report was taken.

An identity theft report was taken Monday morning from the 1000 block of Vey Way.

A theft report was taken Monday evening from the 2200 block of West 8th Street.

Gilliam County

John Charles Garrett, 53, Arlington, was arrested Saturday afternoon in Arlington and is accused of fourth-degree assault and harassment.

Regional Jail

Issac Solomon Lawrence Jr., 18, The Dalles, was booked and released Saturday on a court commitment for failure to perform the duties of a driver.

Brian Scott Marquette, 51, Hillsboro, was booked and released Monday on a court commitment for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Parole & Probation

Corie Kathleen Coggins, 27, The Dalles, was arrested Friday morning in the community corrections office and is accused of two counts of probation violation.
