Accidents

The Dalles City
     March 6, 12:39 a.m.- employees at business in 2100 block of West Sixth Street reported a large pickup ran into and damaged mail box at that address and then left area. Police took report for hit and run accident.
     March 8, 1:45 p.m.- two-vehicle, non-injury accident in 1600 block of East 10th Street. Insurance information exchanged. No report.
     March 8, 3:29 p.m.- two-vehicle, non-injury accident in 400 block of West Third Street. Insurance information exchanged. No report.
     March 8, 3:51 p.m.- two-vehicle, non-injury accident at West Second and Cherry Heights. Insurance information exchanged. No report.
     March 8, 4:04 p.m. – one-vehicle, non-injury accident on West First S treet. Insurance information exchanged. No report.

Police Reports

Wasco County Sheriff
     Gwendolyn Sue Zielke Jeffers, 53, 1083 Irvine St., Space 30, was arrested at her residence Tuesday afternoon and is accused of probation violation. Ashe was booked and released at the regional jail. The original charge was third-degree theft.
     A resident in the 7300 block of Mill Creek Road reported a burglary at that residence Tuesday afternoon. The report said a window was broken to gain entry and items were missing from the house.
     A deputy went to the juvenile detention facility at the regional jail Tuesday and took a report for harassment. The incident involved two male inmates at the facility and took place on Monday night.

Sherman County Sheriff
     David John Hines, 56, 1212 Roberts St., The Dalles, and Jordan Charles Bay, 28, no address, The Dalles, were arrested on Sullivan Lane in Rufus on Tuesday evening. Hines is accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamine, fourth-degree assault and menacing. Bay is accused of parole violation.

Oregon State Police
     Walter Steve Cloud, 45, P.O. Box 185, Wishram, was arrested at Milepost 86 westbound on I-84 Tuesday night on a statewide warrant for parole violation. The arrest came after the OSP got a report of a man staggering in and out of traffic at that location.

Washington State Patrol
     March 7, 1:20 p.m.- one-vehicle, injury accident on SR 141 at Milepost 19.2 in Trout Lake. Unit involved was 1999 Dodge Neon operated by Chelsea E. Webberley, 18, Trout Lake. Accident report said she was northbound when she went to sleep. The vehicle went onto the northbound shoulder, the driver overcorrected and it rolled, coming to rest on its top on the southbound shoulder. She had head, neck and back injuries and was taken to Skyline hospital.

Fires

Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue
     Crews from MCF&R did not respond to any fires on Tuesday but did make nine ambulance runs.
