Helen J. Worral was born on May 26, 1912 in Salem, Oregon.
She was united in marriage to Frederick Worral on February 24, 1940
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick in the fall of 1965 in La Grande, OR after celebrating twenty five years of marriage. Following Fredericks passing, she moved to The Dalles until 1998, when she became a guest resident at Jennings McCall Retirement Center, a beautiful Masonic Home in Forest Grove, where she has resided since. She had a very special 99th birthday party last year with family and friends, and turned 100 years old this May of 2012.
Helen worked for Birnies Jewelry for fifteen years in La Grande. When she relocated to The Dalles she worked for the Department of Motor Vehicles for ten years. Helen was a member of the Gateway Presbyterian Church and an active member of the local Chapter of the Eastern Star.
Among her special interests she enjoyed fishing in streams and lakes. She also loved to dance, travel and enjoyed life.
Helen is also preceded in death by her son, Roger Worral. Survivors include her daughter, Ginger Bradshaw, of The Dalles, Oregon and grandsons Brad and Mark.
The family suggests that remembrances may be contributions to the Jennings McCall Assisted Living Facility, c/o Carnation Chapter Eastern Star, Attn Cathy Thompson, 400 NW Terrace Lane, # 75, Prineville, Oregon 97754, in her memory.
