Michael Duane Anderson, 58, passed away at his home in Bothell, Wash. on Jan. 23, 2013, where he worked as a property
manager. Michael was born in The Dalles Oregon on Aug. 11th 1954 to Duane and Bernice Anderson. He graduated from The Dalles high school in 1972. He loved to fish, camp,
backpack, barbeque and spend time with his dog Buddy. He enjoyed collecting and restoring antique Coleman lanterns. Mike made beautiful stained glass pieces, and was a talented photographer.
He will always be remembered for his witty sense of humor, pranks, and practical jokes. His laugh and warm personality
always made the people around him smile.
He is survived by his
father Duane Anderson,
sister and brother-in-law Susan and Willard Felt, his brother and sister-in-law William and Delinda
Anderson, his son John Anderson, his daughter Grace Anderson, and his daughter Amanda Anderson (all from The Dalles) as well as nieces, nephews and two
He was preceded in death by his mother Bernice Anderson of The Dalles.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, Feb. 2, 1 p.m., at the
Riverenza in The Dalles Oregon (401 E. 10th).
