Barbara Lee (Chapman) Nichols, 69, of Dallesport, Wash., died March 1, 2013.
She was born April 30, 1943, in Schenectady, N.Y., to Walter and Evelyn (Whaley) Chapman, the second child of 10. In 1959, her family moved to Fontana, Calif.
She is survived by her former husband William “Bill” Nichols of Oregon, four children Jay Rosenbrock of Michigan, Richard, Mike Wilson of California, and Evelyn Nichols of Washington, nine grandchildren, Stephanie Stevens, Timothy Rosenbrock, J.D. Rosenbrock, Wyatt Boggs, Kristina Wilson, Walter Wilson, Amanda Wilson, Tiffany Norton and Mikey Jones; three great-grandsons, seven great-granddaughters, two sisters, Lucille Griffin and Mary Jo Chapman, and four brothers, Richard, Chuck, Allen and Don Chapman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Walter Wilson, grandson Dean Stevens, sisters Cheryl Skinner and Patricia Trantum and a brother Walter Chapman.
The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
