Brandon Lee Kimball, 17, a resident of The Dalles, Ore., died Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at a Portland Hospital.
He was born April. 16, 1996, in The Dalles, Ore., to Raymond Lee and Amy Elizabeth (Mercado) Kimball. He grew up in The Dalles, Ore., and attended The Dalles Wahtonka High School.
He volunteered his services at Catlink and enjoyed working with animals. He enjoyed camping, off-road mudding, playing video games, reading about astrology, doodling and spending time with his sisters and brother.
He is survived by his mother Amy Elizabeth Kimball, his father, Raymond Kimball and his step-mother Denise Kimball, his sisters Morgana Paull, Brittany Bernstien and Starla Yarbrough, and his brother Jonathan Bernstien, all of The Dalles; his grandparents, Betty and Herbie Mercado and Donald and Shirley Kimball, all of The Dalles; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be Thursday, May 23, at 1 p.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene, 1313 Mt. Hood Street, The Dalles, with a potluck celebration of life to follow. Any of Brandon’s friends are welcome to attend.
Private interment will be at the I.O.O.F. Threemile Cemetery.
Donations to the family can be made to the Brandon Kimball Memorial Fund at Bank of the West.
