Norman A. Keller, 78, died May 20, 2013, in his home in The Dalles, Ore.
He was born Oct. 10, 1934, to Charles and Mildred Keller in St. Ignatius, Mont. He worked for the railroad from age 14 to 16, when he enlisted in the Army, serving during the Korean War. After getting out of the Army, he went back to work for the railroads, enjoying a 34-year career until his retirement in 1994.
In his spare time, he enjoyed telling stories and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed a country drive and spoiling his pets.
He is survived by his children Charlie Keller, Jerry Keller, Ray Keller and Jamie Cooper; brother Jack; sisters Mildred, Charlene, Donna, Minnie and Linda; four grandsons Caleb, Cody, Austin and Beau; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved pets Sally, Sparks and Friday.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mildred, and one sister, Barbara.
