Donald A. Muzechenko, 67, a resident of Moro, Oregon died November 21, 2013 at a Portland, Hospital.
Donald was born October 17, 1946 in Salem, Oregon to Alex and Arlene (Kinzie) Muzechenko. He was raised and educated in Salem. Following graduation from high school, Donald enlisted in the U.S. Army and served two tours of duty in Vietnam. During those tours he served with the 101st Airborne Division, Vietnam from 1965-1966, 219th AVN Co Headhunters 1966, and 7/17 Air CAV Ruthless Riders, Vietnam 1969-1970, where he served our country proudly.
A resident of Sherman County for the past twenty years, Donald owned and operated Trans Tow Towing Company. He was a member of the Patriot Guard Riders and enjoyed cars, hot rods and gun collecting. In 2008, he and Elene Pugh were married.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Arlene Muzechenko and a brother Arlo Ashley.
He is survived by his wife Elene, brother Gary Ashley, children Suzanne ‘Rene” Muzechenko, Donnie Muzechenko, Jr. and his wife Sara, Jen Berry and her husband Ken, Melissa Baca and her husband Anthony, Cat Crowder, Stephanie Crowder and Ashley Brehm; grandchildren Shelby White, Lexey Muzechenko, Tucker Coons, Madisson Dougherty, Mason Dougherty, Peyton Muzechenko, Ashlynn Riese, Koby Berry, Maddie Berry, Layton Toth and Alivia Toth.
Services with Military Honors will be Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Willamette National Cemetery.
Donald’s casket will be escorted to
Willamette National Cemetery by the Patriot Guard Riders, family and friends, meeting at Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home at 10:30 am and leaving for the cemetery at 11:00 am. Everyone is welcome to join us for the procession.
