Lela Leone (Reynolds) Wilcox, a resident of The Dalles, Oregon died at her daughter’s home April 14, 2014. She was 84 years of age.
Lela was born March 26, 1930 in Moro, Oregon the youngest of four children to Keith and Florence (Colby) Reynolds and was raised and educated In The Dalles. Lela had worked in the fruit industry, grocery stores and a personal care giver at Cherry Heights Retirement Community. She enjoyed spending time with her family, baking prize winning apple pies, mushroom hunting and coin collecting.
She was preceded in death by her sons Dan and Ed, brother Don and sister LaVelle.
Lela is survived by her daughters, Cherie Brent of The Dalles, Oregon; Janet Sparks and her husband Jack of Sandy, Oregon and Pam Landry and her husband Tom of The Dalles, Oregon; sister Lois Gedney and her husband Herb of Salem, Oregon; grandsons Jason, Danny, Joey, Jon, Chris, Tyson and Justin and granddaughters Jennifer, Alisia, Jacole, Amy, Sarah, Wylesha, Rachel, Maggie, and several great grandchildren.
At her request there will be no service.
A private family service will be held at the I.O.O.F. 18th Street Cemetery.
