Robert Carrol Haug DVM, 84, a former resident of The Dalles, Newberg and Myrtle Point, OR, died in The Dalles, OR, June 1, 2014.
Robert was born January 25, 1930 in Millsap, TX, the middle of four children to Gottlieb and Essie Pearl (Doss) Haug.
He was raised and educated in The Dalles, OR, graduating from The Dalles High School, then attending veterinary school in Pullman, WA.
On December 27, 1952 he and Delores Lucille Kaseberg (deceased) were married. Robert and Delores resided in Myrtle Point for forty years where he practiced veterinary medicine and raised his family.
He was a member of The Coquille Valley Elks Club and active in The Coos County Fair and Rodeo. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his daughter, Lynda D. Voodre and her husband Bill of The Dalles, OR; a son, Robin C. Haug of Dundee, OR; two sisters, Lina Haug, and Virginia and her husband Bill Johnson of The Dalles, OR; (a brother, Doss Haug, preceded him in death); five grandchildren, Tara, Shawn and Ryan Welfle, Angela Millus and Sasha Haug; and two great granddaughters, Dakota Millus and Payton Brickey.
