Leora Alice Perry died at a Portland area hospital on Sunday, March 9, 2014. She was 95.
Leora Alice Perry was born December 13, 1918 in Grangeville, Idaho to Benjamin and Luella (Wilson) Perry. They made their home in Dufur, Oregon where she graduated from Dufur High School.
On May 6, 1939 she married Lewis “Bill” Chase in Vancouver, Washington. They made their home on the family homestead in The Dalles, Oregon. They continued to live there until 2000 when they moved to Estacada, Oregon.
Leora enjoyed needle work, jigsaw puzzles, reading and carfts of all kinds.
Survivors include her daughter, Betty Reedy of Puyallup, Washington; sons, Melvin Chase of Independence, Oregon and Don Chase of Estacada, Oregon; 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held, Saturday, March 15, 2015 at Estacda Community Fellowship. Burial followed at the Springwater Cemetery.
