Cyndi’s faith gave her great comfort throughout her life. She believed that God had a plan for her. Now she is at peace in heaven.
Cyndi was born in Roseburg, Oregon in 1946 to Delbert and Elsie McLain. Her family eventually settled in The Dalles, Oregon and Cyndi became a part of the first graduating class of Wahtonka High School in 1964. Upon graduating, Cyndi met, fell in love with and then married Steve Adams, had children, and moved to Wasco, Oregon.
Cyndi’s nurturing and love for children led her to her calling of providing care for the children of families throughout Sherman County for 45 years. Cyndi’s best memories came from the times she spent with her family and friends cruising to Mexico, going on camp outs, and traveling to the Oregon coast with her grandchildren, friends and family.
Cyndi left behind two sisters, Valerie Powers and Karen Leich; 3 children, Stephen Adams, Jr., Brenda Adams, and Lygay Jaeger, and her precious grandchildren Tyler, Traci, Jerod, Taylor, and Kylee.
A Memorial Celebration of her life will be on Sunday, September 7, 2014, at the Wasco Methodist Church basement starting at 1:00 p.m. Bring a potluck dish and a friend.
