Larry Hull was born on June 12, 1944 to Ruby (Baker) Hull and Burton S. Hull. Larry grew up in the Tygh Valley area and graduated from Wasco County Union High in 1962. After graduation he worked for the family logging business, Kanthakits Loggers. He was then drafted into the Army in 1965. Upon returning home, he married Sharon Guisher and they later had two children.
Larry spent a majority of his life working in the timber industry, dedicating most of those years to Mt. Fir Lumber Company running their trucking division. He retired from Dodge Logging in 2009.
Larry was an avid toy truck collector. He had a special talent for restoring antique trucks; many which are on display at the WAAMM museum in Hood River.
Larry is survived by his significant other, Judy C. Jackson and his children, Kendyl Hanning and Kraig Hull. Larry also leaves behind his very special extended family and friends whom he loved very much.
In honor of Larry's memory, a celebration of life will be held at Molly B's Restaurant in Tygh Valley, December 19th at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Maupin Ambulance Fund, Celilo Cancer Center or Heart of Hospice.
