Marjorie Marie Iverson was born to Robert and Flora Doane on October 3, 1921 in Grandview Washington. She was the oldest of three children, and spent most of her youth at White River Falls where her father operated the power plant for Pacific Power and Light.
On December 28th, 1942 she married Merlyn Iverson. Throughout their marriage they lived in Portland, The Dalles, and then in 1961 they purchased the farm in Wamic, where they lived the rest of their lives. Marjorie loved to cook, work in the garden and spend time with family and friends. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Marjorie is survived by her three children, Betty and Herb Mercado, June and Jim Thompson and her youngest son David Iverson, grandsons Jeremy and Joshua Thompson, Amy Kimball and her six great grandchildren.
Marjorie passed away on February 19, 2015. Graveside services will be held on February 27th, 2015 at 1:00pm at the Lone Pine Cemetery in Wamic, Oregon.
