Cynthia K. ‘Cindy’ Guth-Parle, 55, a resident of The Dalles, Oregon died at home January 17, 2015.
Cindy was born February 11, 1959 in Green Bay, Wisconsin to James and Dottie (Hayes) Guth. She moved with her parents to The Dalles, Oregon at the age of six months. She attended the Seventh-Day Adventist School in The Dalles, Laurelwood Academy and Walla Walla College. She then worked for Cassa Floral. Cindy was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church and volunteered with the Red Cross and the Red Cross Blood Drive. She enjoyed flowers and flower arranging, cooking and animals, especially dogs and cats.
She is survived by her parents, James and Dottie Guth of The Dalles, Oregon; two aunts, Beverly Hathaway and her husband Richard and Rulene Peterson. Numerous cousins and others who claimed her to be part of their family.
Services will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at 1:30 PM at Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home. Private interment will be at the I.O.O.F. 18th Street Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Seventh-Day Adventist Food Bank or a charity of choice.
