Jan was born July 7, 1947 in Kalamazoo, Mich. After high school she graduated from the Grand Rapids school of Bible and Music where she met and married Randy. A few years later they moved ot Oregon and eventually settled in The Dalles. Following Randy’s death she rebuilt her life and started All Columbia Gorge Painting & Cleaning. She had the wonderful opportunity to explore things that she was passionate about. She discovered a love for photography and grew that into another local business, Oh Shoot Photography. She became a member of the Gorge Photography Club and was honored with an exhibition at The Dalles Art Center. She traveled the world with Hew and captured beauty everywhere she went. Jan especially loved going on photography trips with her girlfriends. She also discovered horses; she rode often and became a member of the Fort Dalles Riders Club. Jan made many friends during her adventures and she treasured each one. She was a devoted mother and cherished friend. We will miss her.
