Arthur Edward Howe Jr., 65, a resident of Arlington, Ore. passed away on August 17, 2016.
He was born in Omaha, Nebraska on November 11, 1950 to Arthur and Marjorie Howe. The family moved to Oregon when Arthur was between 8-9 years old and lived in Sandy, Condon and Fossil where Arthur graduated high school. He went on to Blue Mountain Community College and then started his career.
He married Debbie Prock in 1975 and the couple had two sons Jason and Eddie. Arthur had an active career working for Martin Maryetta in The Dalles and Goldendale, for ODOT as a driver and also as a prison guard. Arthur and Debbie moved to Arlington 12 years ago to retire.
Some of his hobbies include bowling, golf, football and he was a baseball coach. He was also the “litter patrol leader” and the kids loved it as he made it fun. He was also a member of Arlington Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife Debbie, son Eddie, grandchildren Caitlynn, Aber, Skyler, Emmalee, Alex, Taylor, Loren, Dakota, and Alexa. Brothers Butch, Pete, Randy, Dennis and sisters Edith and Marie. He is preceded in death by son Jason and sister Sharon.
Arthur will be greatly missed by all.
Memorial services will be held Saturday August 27th, 2016 at 11 am at Arlington Methodist Church with Officiant Bob Stone. Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
