Jack was a fisherman who loved to stay all day out on the Columbia River fishing for Smallmouth Bass. He was always hoping that he may hook into a largemouth that had snuck into the cold water of the Columbia.
Jack loved a good tale, that made him laugh, and a good argument (he had what several have called an evil laugh of joy and we all know that it was a good laugh, because he had heard of or he had just snookered someone).
Jack lived in The Dalles from 1958-2007.
He is survived by his two daughters April West and husband Roger, Diane Neff and husband David, one son, Joe Burnham and wife Caroline, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, many more family and friends and his wife, Jerri who loved him.
He is missed and will be remembered in a memorial held on Saturday, May, 28th 2016 at 11 am, at The Dalles Marina dock for his friends and family to say goodbye. Jack would have been normally out there fishing at that time of the year.
