Norman was born in Nebraska to Arthur & Bonnie Goree. He moved to The Dalles, Oregon and then to White Salmon, Washington. He later married Phyliss Seeley and they lived in Roosevelt, Washington before moving to Goldendale, Washington.
He belonged to the Operating Engineers Local 701 where he operated heavy equipment and became a field representative.
He also rodeo’d for many years in PRCA and the NPRA, bronc riding and bull dogging.
He had his own construction company-Goree and Son after retiring from the operating engineers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, wife Phyliss, daughter, Debbie and son, Darren.
He leaves behind his grandsons Jeremy Cronawit and Josh Taylor and nieces and nephews.
He will be missed by many friends and family.
