Emma (Jane) Campbell quietly left her beloved family on January 7, 2016. She was 91.
Born Septeptember 24, 1924, in The Dalles, Oregon, to George and Emma (Pashek) Harth. She was raised on the family wheat ranch along with her two brothers George and Wilbur Harth.
After graduation from The Dalles High School, she worked in several capacities for Western Union Telegraph.
She moved to White Salmon after marrying Lee Williamson in 1945.
Jane’s home and yard, both in White Salmon were her pride and joy. Being a self-taughter, Jane was especially proud of her sewing and spent many hours making her own clothing.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Lee Williamson and Keith Campbell, two infant children and both brothers.
She is survived by Lee and Debbie Courtney and Michael and Elaine Courtney, all of White Salmon, six grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, her sister-in-law, Ople Harth of The Dalles, and numerous nieces and nephews.
At her request, no formal services will be held.
Any remembrance contributions can be made in her name to Providence Hospice of the Gorge.
