Alice Lucille Bryant, was born on January 31, 1930 in Kelso, Wash. to Faye Alfred and Nellie Manila Bryant. They then moved to The Dalles and then out to Dufur, Ore.
Alice was born 7 months premature, she was crippled from birth, she could walk but would always have to have something to hold onto. She attended school for 2 years but found it too difficult to continue, after moving back into The Dalles she lived with her mother for awhile and then moved in with her sister Lila. Due to not have easy access and facilities to take care of her she was moved into Columbia Basin Nursing Home where she resided for almost 50 years and was the longest living resident of the nursing home, until her death on January 31, 2016.
She was always happy with her little corner of her room, she loved to laugh and make others laugh. She is preceeded by her brother Harlan Joseph Bryant of Portland, Ore., and sister Lila Lee Mitchell of Benton City, Wash.
A graveside service was held at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in The Dalles, Ore., on June 18, 2016, at 11 a.m.
