Scott Kramer, was born David Scott Kramer on April 27, 1960 to Than Kramer and Sharon Boyles in The Dalles, Ore. On Sunday June 5, 2016, Scotty passed away in his home town of Dufur, Ore.
Scotty, “Skeeter,” as he was often known, was the third child born to Than and Sharon. He spent the majority of his life in Dufur, playing sports and graduating from Dufur High School in 1978. He is survived by his mother Sharon Boyles, step-father Al Boyles, brother Steve Kramer and sisters Shari Kramer and Amy Miller. Scott also is survived by his nephew Grayson Kramer, his partner Travis Walker, and nieces Shelby Kramer and Samantha Miller.
Scotty never married and had no biological children, however he truly loved all children and was loved by them as well. He had a way with kids and could often be found chatting them up in the voice of Donald Duck, buying them a treat and those interactions were priceless. Scotty also had a love for animals, and they just seemed to flock to him.
Scott enjoyed being outdoors, especially driving in the woods and hanging out at the baseball field.
Scotty’s life will be celebrated on June 25 at 2 p.m. at the Dufur City Park. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Dufur City EMT Department.
