Norma Ruth Hardie-Coiner, 84, a long time resident of The Dalles, Ore., passed away at her home in Meridian, Idaho on March 4, 2016.
Norma was born in Condon, Ore., the oldest of three daughters to Senator Thomas Stewart Hardie and Gertrude (Winegar) Hardie.
Norma is survived by her children and grandchildren: son Stewart Jorgensen and wife Dawn of Kuna, Idaho, grandson Austin Holland of Dufur, Ore., Daughter, Annette (Jorgensen) Wilson and husband Dave of Dufur, Ore., grandsons Michael Wilson of Spokane, Wash., and Jason Wilson of Walla Walla, Wash., Daughter, Darlene (Jorgensen) Mills of Boise, Idaho, granddaughter Elizabeth Davis and husband Andrew of Woodbridge, Va., daughter, Carolyn (Coiner) Thompson of The Dalles, Ore., granddaughter Patricia Thompson of The Dalles, Ore., daughter, Addie (Coiner) Gothro and husband Steven of Gresham, Ore., granddaughter Miranda Beatty and grandson Jacob Beatty of Gresham, Ore., and son, Mike Coiner and wife Cherie of LaCenter, Wash., grandsons Derek Coiner, Zackary Coiner and granddaughter Samantha Coiner of LaCenter, Wash. Sisters, Darlene Hardie of Woodburn, Ore., Gail Aragon and husband Dave of San Antonio, Texas. and her many friends. Norma was preceded in death by her son Ron Coiner Jr. and grandson Taron Thompson.
A celebration of life will be held at Gateway Presbyterian Church, 1111 Dry Hollow Rd., The Dalles, Ore., on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 10:30 a.m.
