Randy Wade Stewart, 48, a resident of The Dalles, Oregon for the past 18 years, died peacefully of cancer in his home on Friday, March 4, 2016.

Randy was born March 8, 1967 in Lakeview, Oregon, the youngest of four children to Joan (Griffith) Azevedo and Butch Stewart. He grew up in Lakeview and attended school there, graduating from Lakeview High School in 1985.

On June 17, 2000, he and Kim (Chubb) Stewart were married in Reno, Nevada.

Randy started his employment with Les Schwab Tire Center in 1989 and was a devoted employee with the company for 26½ years. He worked in several stores in Oregon during his time with Les Schwab including Salem, Bend, Lakeview, and The Dalles where he was an assistant manager for the past 18 years.

An avid Denver Broncos fan, Randy never missed catching a Broncos football game on television and loved talking NFL football. He was an ultimate outdoorsman who loved camping and fishing. Randy was a passionate bow and rifle hunter, hunting numerous species of animals all throughout the year. He enjoyed horse racing, his horses, and his dogs—he had an especially strong bond with his beloved beagle “Cash Frog.”

Randy is survived by his wife Kim Stewart, The Dalles; mother Joan Azevedo and step-father Bob Azevedo, Lakeview, Oregon; father Butch Stewart and Gale Gladfelter, Prineville, Oregon; brother Ron Stewart, Portland, Oregon; sister Jodi Seeley and brother-in-law Tom Seeley, Lander, Wyoming (nephew Chris Giffin and niece Jenny Giffin); and brother Marty Stewart and sister-in-law Kerri Stewart, Polson, Montana (nephews Quinn, Shawn, and Nick).

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Spencer, Libby, and Powell Funeral Home located at 1100 Kelly Avenue in The Dalles, Oregon. An additional celebration of life in Lakeview, Oregon is pending and will be announced at a later date.
