MariAnne Laurine Sansour, 69, passed away at her home in The Dalles, Ore., on May 13, 2016. She was born on March 17, 1947 in Minot, N.D., the daughter of Betty Lou Korner.
After spending her younger years in North Dakota, MariAnne moved to Oregon when she was in her early 30’s. In 1983 she married Albert Sansour in Reno, Nev. Mrs. Sansour worked as a server in various places throughout Oregon. Known to have a “green thumb,” she loved gardening and had a beautiful flower garden. She also enjoyed crafts, singing and dancing. A regular “Betty Crocker,” MariAnne loved to bake. Her family was her passion.
She is survived by her husband Albert Sansour of The Dalles; sons Leo Warmsbecker and Terry Warmsbecker both of Williston, N.D.; daughter Karen Warmsbecker of The Dalles; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Faith Lutheran Church, W. 10th and Snipes, The Dalles with a reception to follow. Gardner Funeral Home handled cremation arrangements. Please send condolences to the Sansour family by visiting www.gardnerfh.com.
