Cheryl Lynn Lowe “sister” was born, Feb. 11, 1955, to William and Marjorie Gaige in the Dalles, Ore. She was one of seven children: Allen, Denny, Sonny, Robert, Mary Lauterbauch, and Denise Patton.
She was widowed by Michael Stephen Lowe on Dec. 28, 2006, and is survived by her son, Nicholas Michael Lowe.
She passed away to lie with the angels on March 23, 2017, at her home, where she had been a resident for 32 years.
Her passion was caring for and helping others and bringing joy to their lives. She was a proud caregiver at Hearts of Gold for almost a decade, where she touched the hearts of many seniors.
She then went on to work for the state, as a driver and caregiver for the disabled. In her free time, Cheryl enjoyed, working in her yard, antique hunting, going for rides in the country or to look at old homes and spending time with her two dogs, Boo and Ollie.
Her memorial will be held April 15, at the Mid-Columbia Senior Center, 11-2 p.m.
Thank you to Hospice of the Gorge, Pam and Tom, Elvin, Kim, Kathy, Izzy, all friends and family and Anderson's Tribute Center.
