Maryann Fox passed into the awesome presence of her Savior on April 18, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born June 3, 1946, to Helen and Scotty Brown in Portland, Ore. She is survived by her husband Kit and two children, Chris, Jewell, Ore.; and Jamee Meier Clatskanie, Ore.; sister Bonny Wasley; brother Charles Brown of San Francisco, Calif.; and six grandchildren.
Maryann was a Christian and loved the Lord Jesus. She and Kit recently moved from Long Beach where she was active in the Ocean Park Community Church. Since moving she's attend the Clatskanie Baptist Church.
Maryann lived in the Columbia Gorge area for 25 years where she was sometimes a bookkeeper. She established the Mosier Country Christmas Arts and Crafts Fair and the Christmas Food Basket Project, both of which continue today.
Her interests were her family, church, quilting, art projects, genealogy, gardening, and the beach.
Maryann was loved by everyone she touched throughout her life and will be missed by all.
A celebration of her life will be held May 6, at Clatskanie Baptist Church at 2 p.m.
