Joesph H. Greiner Jr. of Portland, Ore., passed away on May 23, 2017 at the age of 58. Joe was born and raised in The Dalles, Ore., graduating from Wahtonka High School in 1977. Joe did what he loved for his career. He became a arborist and successfully ran his own business called Endeavor Tree Service for many years.
In 1994, Joe became a paraplegic while topping a tree when his chain saw cut his safety line and he fell 30 feet to the ground. Joe sold his business in 2015 and set off for an adventure across the United States. Joe is survived by his son Mike Mckienan and family; his mother Jean Greiner; sisters; Diana Shields of San Francisco Calif., Patty Latham and her husband Tim of The Dalles, Annette Heideman of The Dalles. He was proceeded in death by his father, Joseph H Greiner Sr., Sisters Kathy Adams, Susan Pezzeti and brother Thomas A. Greiner.
A celebration of life will be held June 17, at The Dalles Eagles Lodge at 1pm. Food will be provided.
