A memorial service for Glenda Gay Fulton will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 28, at Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home, 1100 Kelly Ave, The Dalles.
Glenda Gay Fulton passed away on March 22, 2017, at a local care facility in The Dalles Ore. at the age of 76. Glenda was born on Feb. 3, 1941, to parents Glenn and Helen (Gerity) Alexander in The Dalles.
Glenda is survived by her brother Richard Alexander, Lincoln City, Ore.; Her four daughters, Katie Anthony, The Dalles Ore., Michelle Fulton, Portland Ore.; Judy and Mike Urness, The Dalles, and Jenni and Will Ford, The Dalles. Glenda leaves behind her seven grandchildren Sarah and Samuel Anthony; Charlie and Mackenzie Urness, John, Judy and Ruthie Ford, all of The Dalles.
Glenda grew up in The Dalles and graduated from The Dalles High School in 1959. Glenda’s passion was being a mom to her four daughters. She is remembered most by her daughters for her patience and her devotion to raising them.
She enjoyed cooking for her family, was an avid reader, loved playing bridge and traveling. In her last five years of life, Glenda resided at The Dalles Health and Rehab Center, where she was taken care of with the utmost level of love and compassion.
