Jessica Dawn Wilcox, 33, of The Dalles, Ore., passed away suddenly on Oct. 10, 2017. She was born May 11, 1984, in Tacoma, Wash., to Russell and Janeal Wilcox. She was the youngest of ten children born in this blended family.
She was very artistic and loved to draw, sing and take photographs. She loved children and someday wanted her own. She never met Mr. Right, but had many friends. She struggled most of her life with depression and self-harmful thoughts, but had the strength to overcome smoking and alcohol.
She is survived by her parents; sisters, Michelle and Craig Schmid of Vancouver, Wash., Brenda and Gabriel Bishop of Kemp, Texas, Heather and T.J. Greenwell of Floresville, Texas; and brothers, Devon and LeAnne Snow of Boise, Idaho, Patrick and Erika Snow of Vancouver, Wash., Jason Snow of The Dalles, Erik and Lucy Wilcox of Kemp, Texas, David Wilcox of The Dalles, and Jeremy Gleason of Yuma, AZ.; and 31 nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be Thursday Oct. 19, 2017, from 2-7 p.m. at Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home in The Dalles. Funeral will be Friday Oct. 20, 2017, at 10 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1815 E. 15th Street, The Dalles.
